Rating definition as per ISO8528
- Prime - Output available with varying load for an unlimited time. Average power output is 70% of the prime power rating. Typical peak demand is 100% of prime rated kWe with 10% overload capability for emergency use for a maximum of 1 hour in 12.
- Standby - Output available with varying load during a normal power supply failure. Average power output is 80% of the standby power rating. Typical annual operating time less than 500hours. No overload is available.

Stainless steel locks and handles on doors
- Black zinc die cast hinges on doors proven to withstand extreme weather conditions
- Zinc plated standard fastener with stainless steel option
- Enclosure made of sheet steel pre-treated with zinc phosphate prior to polyester powder coating
Secure, lockable doors prevent unauthorized access to control panel, fuel fill and battery
- Emergency stop buttons mounted on enclosure exterior surface
- All moving parts including Cooling fan, charging alternator, belt are fully guarded
Hinged doors of 180 deg swing on both sides of the enclosure for easy access and maintenance
- Lube oil and water drains hosed to baseframe side to exterior
- Removable end panels allow access to radiator, exhaust silencer and alternator rear
